Sits as good as it looks
The Birka Linen Ottoman is firm where you want it and soft where you need it. Tested by four adults at a dinner party — nobody believed it was new.
seating
A softly square ottoman in oatmeal washed linen on oak legs — footrest, extra seat, and the thing the cat claims first.
Birka is stuffed the way we like our upholstery: firm high-resilience foam under a generous layer of rebound fibre, so it is comfortable to rest feet on and stable enough to sit on. The cover is washed European linen in oatmeal, removable and re-tensionable with a hidden zip.
The oak legs unscrew for flat shipping and screw back in without tools that matter.

The weave on the Birka Linen Ottoman is beautiful and tight. It comes with felt pads but our very old uneven floor needed bigger ones — five-minute fix, five-star piece otherwise.
Light enough to carry one-handed from hallway to living room, solid enough to not think about it. The Birka Linen Ottoman is the piece I did not know we needed.
